Coach Bryan Wentworth played competitive baseball throughout his youth, high school and college years.  A middle infielder in high school and college, he also has significant experience as a pitcher and centerfielder.  After graduating from Lemoore High School in California's central valley and being recognized as an All-Valley, All-District, and All-Conference shortstop, Bryan played for Coach Jody Allen at College of the Sequoias (COS).  Coach Allen is currently ranked in the top 25 on the California Community College Baseball all-time wins list.  Bryan earned All-Conference honors at COS while helping lead the team to a Top 4 ranking.  He finished his collegiate career at Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL under the coaching of American Baseball Coaches Association Hall-of-Fame Coach Dave Barnett. Bryan has the distinction of being Coach Barnett's first ever recruit from California.

Bryan also spent a season with the Kindersley Royals of the Saskatchewan Major Baseball League (now the Western Canadian Baseball League).  When the playing days were done, Coach Bryan took a front office position with the Chicago Cubs organization and served as Assistant General Manager with the Daytona Cubs, a Class A-Advanced affiliate in the Florida State League.

Leaving Florida for Maryland, he has coached for 20+ years, including as a counselor/instructor for the Fresno State University Bulldogs high school prospect camp.  Coach Bryan lives in Edgewater, MD with his wife Karen, daughter Grace, and son Blake. Blake currently plays in the SBA Maryland organization on one of the Mid-Atlantic's premier travel teams.

Coach Bryan earned a B.A. in Sport Management from Flagler College, is a member of the ABCA (American Baseball Coaches Association), and is certified by USA Baseball via the USA Baseball Coaches Certification Program.
